Annotation:

The article presents brief information about the life, ethnicity and scientific discoveries of one of the greatest scientists of the East, Ibn Haytham Basri. Further attempts were made to determine his place in the science of optics founded by Ibn Haytham. Most European scientists, especially Newton and Einstein, following Ibn Haytham, gave information about light, its decay and other issues related to light from the point of view of physical science.
